For outreach in the community, our Community Services team provides food and clothing for individuals every Tuesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the church. We also engage in programs for the homeless such as providing blankets, clothing, and food. We give out holiday food boxes around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
We hold special events for the community. In 2022, we hosted a block party and invited community leaders to attend so they could share information. Local vendors sold their products, community representatives shared information about programs to help individuals with nutrition, jobs, and health. We also did health screenings. We are continuing to expand our outreach activities.
